Laboratory of immunoregulation
Freidlin Irina Solomonovna
doctor of medical sciences, professor, corresponding member of RAMS,
the head of the
laboratory
Scientific interests: fundamental and applied immunology, interactions of
immune cells, cytokines, immunoregulation, immunopathology

Kositzkaya Lyudmila Samuilovna, PhD,
senior scientist,
Scientific interests: immunoregulation, antiidiotipic antibodies,
immunopathology, clinical immunology, immune diagnostics.
Applied aspects: 1. To determine clinical-immunological characteristics of
autoimmune diseases, "complete serological analysis" is carried out. It
includes measurements of the levels of autoantigen, autoantibodies,
circulating immune complexes, complement system and immunoglobulins of
different classes. Such analysis is diagnostically and prognostically
important in a number of autoimune diseases.
2. Design of non-standard diagnostic systems based on indirect
haemagglutination reaction and immuno-enzyme analysis for quantitative
measurement of various antigens and antibodies
in biological materials in accordance with the proposed diagnostic and
research tasks.

Popova Olga Jakovlevna, MD, PhD
Scientific interests: phagocytes, peptides and amino acids as
immunomodulators, immunomodulatory and detoxicating effects of peptide and
amino acid medicines.
Applied aspects: clinical immunology, microscopic estimation of phagocytic
and metabolic activity of granulocytes and monocytes (the NBT-TEST).

Zhitnuhin Yury Leonidovich, MD, PhD ,
senior scientist
Scientific interests: autoimmune pathology, EAE, cytokines,
immunoregulation, immunomodulation.
Applied aspects: clinical-immunological characteristic of autoimmune
demyelinating processes under experimental
conditions (experimental allergic encephalomyelitis) and
in clinic (multiple sclerosis), studying of the mechanisms of
pathogenesis, roles of cytokines, means of immunocorrection.

Kisseleva Ekaterina Prohorovna,
MD, PhD, doctor of medical sciences, senior
scientist,
Scientific interests: immunology of tumor growth, cytokine, apoptosis,
angiogenesis.
Applied aspects: the use of experimental models (experiments on mice, work
with primary cell cultures and cell lines) for studying immunomodulatory
effects of various grows factors, organization and realization of research
projects in tumor immunology.

Starikova Elleonora,
PhD,
Scientific interests: interaction of immune system cells, cytokines.
Applied aspects: Use of complex of methods including cell culture,
immunoenzyme analysis and cell immunoenzyme
analysis to define changes of proliferative activity, surface phenotype,
production and secretion of cytokines by endothelial cells EA.hy 926 under
the influence of cytokines. The revealed changes
will allow to judge on the influence of these substances on certain stages
of inflammation.

Kissina Tatjana,
PhD,
Scientific interests: interaction of immune cells, cytokines.
Applied aspects: Development of the tests for the detection of individual
features of specific immune response in patients with lung tuberculosis.
Development of these tests includes determination of the sensitivity of
immune cells of patients with lung tuberculosis to mitogens and specific
antigen - tuberculin.

Kusnetsova Svetlana A., PhD.
Scientific interests: interaction of immune system cells, cytokines.
Applied aspects: Use of complex of methods including cell culture,
immunoenzyme analysis, PCR/
