Architect G.I.Lutcedarsky

Grigorii Ippolitovich Lutcedarsky was born in 1870. He got secondary education in Odessa, Risheliew gymnasium and fine arts school. In 1890 he continued his education at the Academy of Arts in St-Petersburg, in architecture. During the four years of study he was awarded with two silver medals and got a degree of an architect on October 30, 1895. He was practicing in his art as an architect-assistant in Odessa and St-Petersburg, ( civil constructions, market-places, slaughter-houses, manor-houses). He've got some experience and good recommendations from L.N.Benua, rector of the Academy.
In 1895 he was imployed with the Imperial institute of experimental medicine.

Before constructing of the IEM's library Lutcedarsky was already the author of several well-known buildings in St-Petersburg.
