The laboratory is carrying out investigations on neurohumoral, hemodynamics, extravascular etc. mechanisms of venous return control, and its relation with the main hemodynamic parameters (arterial blood pressure, central venous pressure, total peripheral resistance, cardiac output, stroke volume, heart rate) and estimation of the role of the venous return in systemic hemodynamics shift ( formation of the cardiac output and arterial blood pressure level). Special attention is paid to relations between
cardiovascular and respiratory systems, particularly for
influences of lung ventilation on capacitance function of
venous bed of the systemic circulation. For authomatical changes of the main hemodynamic parameters (venous return, cardiac output) in the feed-back experiments the complex of apparatus on the base of measurement, perfusion and computer techniques has been elaborated. The investigation are performed on cats and rabbits in acute and chronic experiments in the normal conditions; under influences of environmental factors (hypoxia, hypo- and hyperthermia, gravitational loads) and with experimental pathology of the cardiovascular system (hypertension). The regularities were established in interrelationships of hemodynamic indices of the greater and lesser circulation circles as well as the role of resistance of certain regions and the capacitance function of the systemic vascular bed in the formation of the volume of the inflow of venous blood to the heart. |
